Traditional crafts of Hoa and Khmer on show |
The orchards-rich Can Tho Province on January 28 opened a showcase of traditional crafts and dishes popular among the Kinh ethnic majority and the Hoa and Khmer ethnic minorities living in the Mekong Delta.
The festival entitled “Spring of Orchards Region” has drawn dozens of artisans from the three ethnic groups, who will display the techniques of wickerwork and traditional cuisines making till February 3, just three days before the eve of the Year of the Mouse.
These crafts and dishes are typical to the orchards region, which will be core of the upcoming National Tourism Year scheduled to take place in Can Tho in February.
